An Adieu to the Engraver of the Lira
A piece of history, a part of Cartiere Miliani Fabriano, has gone. The wax-engraver of the marvellous artistic light-shade watermarks. Truly real works of art. The ‘Fondazione G. Fedrigoni ISTOCARTA’ expresses its deepest sympathy to the family and the town of Pioraco for the late Cavaliere Luigi Casoni.
** This mould is part of the collection of the 2.300 moulds manufactured by Cartiere Miliani Fabriano already in the early 1800s, and which are currently preserved by ‘Fondazione G. Fedrigoni ISTOCARTA’.
