The Foundation supports the course of "History of Book" of La Sapienza University
The Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation has decited to support the live experience of the twenty students of the course “History of the Book" for the University of Rome La Sapienza taught in English by Professor Cristina Dondi (Lincoln College, Oxford University) discovering through live hands-on experience the unique tradition of the Italian book industry, with sessions on traditional papermaking, printing, binding.
Undergraduates coming from twenty countries met in Venice and Cornuda (Treviso), working with Fabriano paper on press at Tipoteca Italiana, and will continue next week with a specific class on paper, with an intervention from the Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano within a class of Professor Marinita Stiglitz (Bodleian Libraries, Oxford University).
