On Saturday, June 21st, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Fedrigoni company’s archive, which is deeply intertwined with the history of Verona thanks a new open day event with the title of “Memorie Industriali. Alla scoperta dell’Archivio Fedrigoni riconosciuto di “interesse particolarmente importante”" Guided tours, available by reservation, will take guests through Casa Fedrigoni, the building on Viale Piave located within the Fedrigoni plant, just a short walk from Verona’s city center.
“The absolute significance of the producing entity and the richness and diversity of the preserved materials fully justify the need to place the archive under protection”. This is the statement included in the report accompanying the decree of “particularly important interest,” signed by Leonardo Lamanna, Superintendent of the Archival and Bibliographic Authority for Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige.
This recognition confirms the uniqueness of a heritage that tells the story and evolution of an industrial area of the city, which remains today a key production center for the Fedrigoni Group. On display: photographs, sample books, design projects, laboratory instruments, watermarking matrices, handmade paper molds, and a selection of the finest products created over the years using Fedrigoni papers and labels.
