Fedrigoni Corporate Archive is "significant historical interest"
The Fedrigoni Corporate Archive in Verona has been officially recognized as being of "significant historical interest" by the relevant ministerial authorities! This prestigious recognition celebrates the rich collection of documents and artifacts that bear witness to over a century of papermaking history.
Curated by the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation on behalf of Fedrigoni SpA, the archive preserves valuable materials such as watermarks, photographs, volumes, and tools for the manufacture and measurement of paper characteristics. These treasures provide a detailed overview of the evolution of production techniques and the company's growth over time.
With the invaluable support of Professor Giorgetta Bonfiglio Dosio, Full Professor of Archival Science, President of ANAI-Veneto, and Director of the journal "Archivi," the Fedrigoni Fabriano Foundation has organized and described the documents, making them accessible to scholars and enthusiasts. This meticulous work underscores the cultural and historical importance of the archive, which represents an invaluable heritage for the city of Verona and the entire Italian papermaking sector.
