Pre-registration is now open for the 4th edition of “Fabriano: Between History and Innovation
Pre-registration is open from May 25 to June 8 for the event taking place on October 14–16, dedicated to paper deacidification, one of the most critical issues in the preservation of cultural heritage. The program includes an international conference and an advanced training workshop.
Fondazione Fedrigoni Fabriano, in collaboration with Fedrigoni S.p.A. and Stefania Zeppieri Conservation and Restoration, is organizing the fourth edition of “Fabriano tra storia e innovazione" ('Fabriano: Between History and Innovation'), a leading event in the field of conservation and restoration of paper materials. Since 2023, it has brought internationally renowned scholars, researchers, and professionals to Fabriano, addressing key topics in the sector.
The 2026 program, scheduled for October 14–16, will focus on paper deacidification, a central challenge in conservation. The topic will be explored on October 14 through a dedicated international conference and on October 15–16 through a high-level training workshop for a limited number of participants.

Advanced Training Workshop: “Deacidificazione dei supporti cartacei. Metodologie, materiali e pratiche operative tra tradizione e innovazione”
Participation in the workshop is limited to 12 professional conservators or students enrolled in the PFP5 program (percorso formativo professionalizzante). The first 12 applicants will be admitted. The workshop will run only if a minimum of 8 participants is reached.
